Just like Lake Saif ul malook, the people of Kalash actually believe that fairies live and land on this lake. Furthermore, they assumed that when they die their souls go to this lake. And the Kalash community has installed a trail for trekking. It’s a rather acceptably easy trek than Katora.

  • Mahodand Lake

This place is best to visit in winters as it got covered with snow caps during the cold season. It is located near Ushu village, you have to take a jeep drive of 3 hours from Kalam to visit this place. It becomes highly populated during the mid-season because, in recent years, it has become a must-to-see spot for tourists around the globe.

Due to this, there is trash all over the bushy area. But people from outside Pakistan called it a “Living Paradise”. The water there is super freezing to touch. You can avail boats there. But the lag is in the nearby area for not having any availability like hotels, resthouses to stay. You can only stay there by camping or putting tents.

  • Kandol Lake

This beautiful place to visit in Pakistan is located in North Swat. There is a drive of almost one or one and hour from Swat Laddu village. This lake presents soothing surroundings and a hopping spot for peace. You can also do trekking there around the green lake. Trekking can take 1/2 hour, but the fragrance of its breeze makes you feel like spending hours around the lake is customary. Also, in recent years, several tourists complain about the trek routes as the flood made them rough and bristly.

  • Phandar Lake

This lake will surely offer you many reasons to stay. This aesthetic place is located in Gilgit Baltistan. Trout fish expeditions, motorbike adventures, short walks, hiking, multifold cultural norms, all give you enough to stay in that place. The summer season is hopefully the best to visit that place as the winters are too cold to make you feel numb. But in summers, the place gets full of worldwide tourists, so it would be difficult to stay there sometimes.
